New AccesStage solution makes retailers and manufacturers closer

The solution AccesStage Mercantil allows the electronic interchange of orders, payment notices and invoices via web, between commercial partners.

Sao Paulo, September 10th - Making retailers and manufacturers closer is AccesStage’s objective – a company from the Groups Mitsubishi and INTEC, with the new EDI solution especially created to meet specific needs of the mercantile segment. The solution AccesStage Mercantil allows goods manufacturing companies and retail companies to exchange electronically many documents, such as orders, payment notices and invoices via web. By adopting this solution, the companies eliminate totally the need for documents double digitalizing, becoming faster on information processing and, in the end, more effective on goods transportation and collecting payments safely.

Based on the AccesStage’s acknowledged EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) technology, the new solution allows yet more efficient purchase quotations and automatic storage replacements, which help reduce the purchase order cycle. “We can also notice a meaningful reduction on transportation costs, since the whole process becomes more controlled and dynamic”, highlights Celso Sato, AccesStage’s commercial director.

Companies integrated by the AccesStage Mercantil system in an electronic chain can think of new strategies and partnerships, since the system reduces drastically mistakes and information loss. With the solution AccesStage Mercantil, the buyer (retail) will place an order to the seller (manufacturer). This one will issue an invoice, which is electronically sent to the client. Even before the truck arrives to the delivery address, the purchase orders and the merchandise invoice are already processed and approved for arrival. “Because of such resources I affirm that the use of the EDI solution in the mercantile segment is, above all, the same as economy, once it reduces paperwork and posting costs, for instance”, adds Sato.

The EDI Mercantil implementation follows all of the technology patterns of the other AccesStage products. This way, it is not necessary to neither implement a new process for each commercial partner nor unify the information exchange management among companies, since the AccesStage Translation Center is responsible for aligning different layouts and platforms.
